Meaningful Play 2012 Day #2 Recap: We Are Game Studies

Meaningful Play 2012

Meaningful Play 2012, Day #2 complete. Again, I was able to attend many interesting lectures and I think I learned a lot today. I met the only other presenter from Japan, a professor from Tokyo University. We had dinner together and we were able to discuss many interesting things related to game studies and serious games. There just isn't any kind of academic conference like Meaningful Play in Japan, but Japan needs this sort of thing. I wonder why there aren't any academic game conferences in Japan.
