Interviewed by Pop Mythology, Referenced by GeekParty

Recently, Jess Kroll from PopMythology.com interviewed me for their excellent online publication and I am doubly honored that the article has been filed under the category of "Applied Geekism" which is officially my new favorite achievement. You can check out the article here:

I would also like to thank Jess Kroll for allowing me the chance to explain myself, what it is I research, and where I envision this field will be in the coming decades. This article for Pop Mythology was probably my most lucid. I found that when re-reading it, I was nodding to myself and saying, "Yeah, I guess that IS what I do."

As an addendum, I should also say that this article was quickly referenced by Tim Evans at GeekParty.com in the following article:

This turned out to be a very pleasant surprise, indeed, especially since Mr. Evans seems to agree with my fringe ideas on narrative in games. These days I actually half expect that if there is an article written about me or my research by someone I don't really know that well, it will be some kind of character assassination, or perhaps an invitation for life-shortening comment troll wars, but such was not the case. And factually, it has never been that way, so I suppose I am just doing my usual doomsayer thing.

In any event, what a way to approach the end of 2014, which has been an asbolutely phenomenal year.
