Proud of what I have to present

I've been so busy with various things these last two months that today is the first time since February that I will be presenting at the monthly lab meeting. It's more than worth nothing as well that I'm actually happy to present today. A lot got done, and got done well in these last two months. This peculiar realization has underscored the norm, which is basically that everyone dreads presenting at the lab meetings. You often don't personally feel that you have done enough in the month, you are afraid to show what little you do have, and you must brace yourself for whatever may come from the professors. But today, I am proud of what I have to present. My wish is that I can continue this trend for as long as I am able.
