Someone Leveled Up

I'm having a cappuccino in Osaka at an underground cafe called "Slow Cafe in a Busy Town," and one of the servers is apparently very proud of whatever it is that she just did. Sadly I didn't see her accomplishment, but I knew this to be true because she happily began singing the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare tune that all FF gamers know as appended to the end of every battle. I chuckled to myself. And then as if to nail the point further, she then declared "Level Up!"
